We do this by developing Projects and developing People that create community. We work to lift up the downtrodden and reach those who have no hope.

We raise money to fund community projects in underdeveloped countries.

We do not start new projects, but instead, come alongside local organizations and help them go further faster by providing the necessary capital.

We’ve experienced people living in extreme spiritual and economic poverty all over the world. As we’ve shared their desperate need with friends, co-workers, and even strangers, the number of people who’ve so eagerly helped financially has touched our hearts and launched us into this vision.

It started with a question: What would you do if you could do anything?

The answer: Give away a million dollars.

That was the question and answer session with our founder and CEO. He didn’t have a million dollars but knew that with the help of others and with God’s favor, we might. That’s how A Time To Build got started.

 

Since 2003, we’ve put more than $1 million dollars into circulation around the world. Building projects like orphanages, churches, and schools. Some of these were stalled due to funding. Others were just dreams without the first dollar raised. We called upon friends, family, and colleagues to help fund these needs.

And while fundraising, sweating, and building, we saw more than just the tangible needs. We experienced the spiritual and educational needs, up close and personal. So we added a second strategic focus: to help develop people while developing buildings.

Our entire focus is to lift up the downtrodden. To prepare the way for hope. And ultimately, to make way for others to know Jesus.
